Release status and Early Access scope

Steam lists October 27, 2026 as the Early Access date. The first build is planned to cover the beginning through the early or middle portion of the game, including combat, gathering, crafting, farming, cooking and estate building. The studio estimates about 18 months in Early Access, but says that period may change with development and feedback.

Price and purchase model

No numeric price or launch-discount percentage is currently published. The official FAQ describes a one-time purchase without microtransactions and says the developers currently intend to keep the same price after Early Access. Those intentions can change, so the live Steam page remains the final purchase reference.

Windows, Linux and Steam Deck

The minimum Windows listing calls for 64-bit Windows 10, an Intel i5 3.2 GHz equivalent processor, 4 GB RAM, a DirectX 10-compatible GPU and 4 GB storage. SteamOS/Linux is also listed with 4 GB RAM and 4 GB storage. Linux support is not the same as a Valve Steam Deck Verified or Playable rating; no rating is shown yet.

Controls and languages

Keyboard-and-mouse and controller support are listed for the initial version. Specific controller models, remapping details and a Deck control profile are not described. Steam currently lists English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Brazilian Portuguese; full audio is listed in English.

Co-op, voice and mod support

The initial Early Access release is described as single-player, and the reviewed official pages do not confirm co-op or multiplayer. Cygnus Cross has announced a 22-person voice cast. Steam Workshop support is a goal for the full version rather than a confirmed launch feature; no editor, API or Workshop date is documented.

What is still unconfirmed?

This page does not fill gaps with guesses. Details not stated in the linked official material remain unconfirmed until Cygnus Cross or Steam publishes them.
