Privacy policy

Effective October 10, 2026. This policy covers indietome.com, an independent game information site.

Current site behavior

The site has no accounts, comments, checkout or upload form. Search filters run in your browser. A search submitted from another page appears in the URL as a q parameter; avoid entering personal or confidential information. Fonts and game images are served from our own hosting.

Hosting and security

Cloudflare hosts this site and may process IP addresses, request URLs, browser information and connection data to deliver pages and protect its network. Read Cloudflare's privacy policy for its handling of this data. The publisher does not set a separate retention period for Cloudflare's operational records.

Analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics provides aggregate page-view and performance metrics. Google Consent Mode keeps analytics and advertising storage denied until you choose “Allow analytics.” While storage is denied, Google's advanced consent mode may receive limited cookieless signals for aggregate measurement. Advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalization remain denied even when analytics storage is allowed.

Your choice is stored in your browser as indietomeAnalyticsConsent. Use “Privacy choices” in the site footer to change or withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent stops future Analytics storage and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies for this domain. Google may process device, browser, approximate location and interaction information when analytics is allowed. Read Google's Privacy Policy or use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Advertising

No Google advertising script or personalized advertising is active in this release. An ads.txt authorization file and publisher verification meta tag do not display ads.

If Google AdSense is enabled later, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies and web beacons to serve ads based on previous visits to this and other websites. Google's advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to serve personalized ads. You can manage or opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings; other participating vendors' opt-out information is available at YourAdChoices. See Google's advertising technology policy.

Advertising will remain disabled until required consent settings are configured, including a Google-certified consent management platform with IAB TCF support for the EEA, UK and Switzerland where applicable. Vendor disclosures will be updated before additional ad vendors are enabled.
