Esper Pacts
Each of the 9 Espers has its own pact requirement. Siren joins automatically during Chapter 1’s story, while the others require finding their shrines or completing side quests and defeating them in battle. To challenge Bahamut, you must first form pacts with all other eight Espers.

| Bahamut | 7 | Make pacts with the other eight espers first. |
| Leviathan | 5 | Follow Nichol’s character quest. |
