The opening and outcome of the demo, folded away until you choose to read them.
In Bad Magpie, you play as a wounded magpie who has been abandoned by her flock.
One day, the magpie sees a star fall from the sky, scattering meteorites in its wake. It crashes into a car park.
In this demo, the magpie sets out to find the star a shiny trinket, hoping to win its heart.
The magpie finally discovers the trinket.
She picks it up, and is overcome by a mysterious vision...
Returning to the car park, the magpie gives the trinket to the star.
The star grows but ignores the magpie. Undeterred, she sets out again in search of a newer, shinier trinket.
