Office: return to a city in trouble

The detective is called out of retirement and given the office back because Syndicate corruption has reached the foundations of the city. Investigations take 2 hours, arrests 1 hour and abilities no time. In later cases, deaths, taint and transformations can invalidate earlier information or the opening category counts. Record when each clue was produced, identify the next timed trigger and only then decide whether another 2-hour investigation is worth it.

Casino: follow the money, protect the reserve

The Syndicate has controlled the Casino for years; its cash and secrets are the route to whoever runs it. Investigations cost 2 chips, a wrongful arrest costs 30 and reaching zero ends the mission. Two cards and regional abilities open extra tests. Reserve chips for decisive questions and track base costs, surcharges, theft and gains separately. Do not count projected income as available when its source may be lying, tainted or imitated by a Scam Artist.

Docks: expose the black market and come home

The Docks hide the heart of the Syndicate’s black-market dealings. Move the boat onto a role to arrest them; each trip normally costs 1 fuel plus its step count, and the return to port must be funded. Movement can update statements or trigger attacks, while hidden roles still occupy addresses and appear when reached. Secure the return route first, then add investigative detours, and confirm every Traitor is handled before closing the case.

The official text traces one pursuit: a retired detective returns to a corrupted city, follows Syndicate money and secrets through the Casino, then attacks the black-market operation at the Docks. The final region asks who is behind it all. Complete the required tier unlocks across the three regional campaigns to reach that confrontation; the culprit and ending are left inside the final-region spoiler.
