Collect and return

Bring tribute to Barry and watch the quota, shift and strikes. Three strikes end the job. Secure the return route before pushing deeper. The factory layout changes between runs, so agree on landmarks with your crew.

Vertical movement

Climb walls to gain height and escape Boogie Bot. Pair Bounce Pad with Umbrella on routes with large drops. Bunny Ears supports successive jumps; Go-Go Goop briefly removes the stamina limit. Bell Collar cushions falls, but its bell is audible to friends and enemies when you run.

Healing and rescue

Use Get-Up & Go to heal yourself or a teammate, and Sewing Kit for an incapacitated teammate. Gather the wounded before throwing Water Balloon to make use of its splash. Carry Antidote for poison. If a teammate dies, put their head into Barry and send him on his way to bring your teammate back.

Co-op roles

With up to eight players, divide scouting, hauling, rescue and retreat cover. Give Backpack to a collector and keep rescue supplies with someone who can reach the group. The Dummy can buy time against larger enemies; Trash Shield blocks projectiles. Repeated use or overcharging can make Blairhorn explode. In a smaller crew, combine roles.

Unlocks and collectibles

Take VHS Tape to the VCR in the Perm-A-Lounge to add it to your collection; Barry does not want these tapes. Check the Critters page before spending or handing in a collectible for an unlock. Helping in another player’s session does not automatically grant every personal unlock.

Puzzle rooms

A lever starts a puzzle room’s challenge. Keep Puzz-Attery, Block and Plush for their matching mechanisms and inspect the room’s instructions before placing them. Divide object handling and watching the return route. Use the hatch lever when it is time to leave.
