From Fiora’s home, travel east through the forest into Glen Dewy, then enter the abandoned mine. Continue to the large crystal deposit. Retrieving the crystal leads into the encounter at the deposit.

At the obstructing boulder, interact to push it down and create a path below. Ropes can also connect routes; use the drop-rope prompt when it appears.

Return after the mine. Deal with the men waiting at Fiora’s home, then go inside to prepare the Aetheroscope.

Complete the workshop interactions: tighten the valve and adjust the tuning fork to the correct tone. When the device is primed, continue the conversation to activate it.
