Inspect the nearby clues for its combination. Opening the briefcase yields a strange light and an old sailor’s knife. Record the clue and the lock together rather than trying an unrelated code from another room.
The note says the password is the keeper’s birthday. Look at the old kitchen calendar, then use that date on the locker. Inside are the valve and a stone-tablet fragment.
If the generator house is locked, continue to the lighthouse. Obtain the crowbar at the top and pry open the hatch. Use the lighthouse power-box switches to stop the current, remove the fuse and install it at the generator. Restored power lets you continue toward the mine lift.
Use the special flashlight to reveal the pantry pedestal and the symbol on the wall. Find the matching symbol pieces and arrange them so their shadow fits the wall design. When the symbol disappears, read the newly revealed message.
