The Magical girl Childhood friend lives Next Door

A step-by-step chapter and schedule guide: plan a character route, keep useful saves, understand all three schedule rounds and prepare for endings and achievement cleanup.

From a new game to an ending

Pick a target character, keep a save before each schedule round, then check both characters’ numbers before the final choice. This guide follows the story in play order and explains where branches change.

Contains chapter and ending-condition spoilers. This is a data-based progression guide, not a verified sequence of dialogue answers.

1. Choose a character and an ending goal

Each character has affection and a separate route value. Affection decides whether you meet a minimum and lead the other character; route value selects the final Pure/Fallen threshold.

TargetAffectionLead over the other characterRoute value
Seoyoon · Pure≥ 50≥ 10< 30
Seoyoon · Fallen≥ 40≥ 10≥ 30
Forte · Pure≥ 40≥ 10< 30
Forte · Fallen≥ 30≥ 10≥ 30

For planning, prioritize your chosen character’s affection while watching the gap. Raising both equally can leave neither ten points ahead. These thresholds describe the final gate, not a guaranteed reachable score plan.

Do not confuse two thresholds: several chapter variants change above route value 0, but the final route changes at 30. An early variant numbered (2) does not by itself lock a Fallen ending.

2. Opening: Prologue through Chapter 4

  1. Start a new game and follow the prologue into Chapters 1 and 2. Keep a save before major choices so that an early bad-ending branch does not cost the entire opening.

  2. At the end of Chapter 2, Seoyoon affection below 20 selects EP_3(1); 20 or above selects EP_3(2). To see the other version later, return to an earlier save and change the affection accumulated before this gate.

  3. Continue through Chapter 3 and Chapter 4 to the schedule phase. The Chapter 4 achievement is tied to its clear trigger; simply opening the chapter is not enough.

3. Work through the three schedule rounds

  1. Round one contains Seoyoon’s Chapter 5 and Forte’s Chapter 6. Finish both to advance automatically. When selecting Seoyoon, affection below 26 uses EP_5(1); otherwise EP_5(2).

  2. Round two contains Chapters 7 and 8. Finish both to advance. Seoyoon route value above 0 selects EP_7(2); otherwise it uses EP_7(1).

  3. Round three offers five schedules: Seoyoon’s Chapters 9 and 12, the shared Chapter 11 sequence, and Forte’s Chapters 10 and 13. Two completed schedules enable the end button, but unused schedules remain available.

  4. Choose whether to continue based on your route and collection goals. More schedules can reveal more story, but their choices can also change both affection and route values. Completing all five is not a universal best-ending recipe.

  5. During the last rest, declining to contact Seoyoon returns to round three if schedules remain. Contacting her advances the story. Decide whether you want any remaining schedules before proceeding.

4. Chapter and branch reference

Use the table when you need to identify the episode version you are entering. Internal episode IDs are included for comparison with the game data.

Three rounds, nine schedule options

The rounds contain 2, 2 and 5 options. In round three, completing two enables the end button; it does not disable the remaining options.

Story order

  1. Opening

    Prologue → EP1 → EP2 → EP3 variant → EP4. At the end of EP2, Seoyoon affection below 20 selects EP_3(1); otherwise EP_3(2).

  2. Schedules

Complete round one, then round two. Round three opens five episode options; the selected episode returns to the saved schedule point when it reaches ScheduleReturn. A bad-ending branch may end the run instead.

  3. Final stretch

    After the last rest: EP14 variant → EP15 variant → EP16 → EP17 → ending. Seoyoon route value above 0 selects EP_14(2); Forte route value above 0 selects EP_15(2).

Both options complete → automatic transition.

Round 2

EP_8No conditional variant—

Round 3

Five options. After two are complete you can end the round or continue. During the last rest, declining to contact Seoyoon returns to this round if options remain; contacting her advances the story.

Default episodeConditionUse instead
EP_9(1)Seoyoon route value > 0EP_9(2)
EP_11-1(1)Seoyoon route value > 0EP_11-1(2)
EP_12(1)Seoyoon route value > 0EP_12(2)
EP_10(1)Forte route value > 0EP_10(2)
EP_13(1)Forte route value > 0EP_13(2)

Read branch names carefully

EP_11-1 continues into EP_11-2: Forte route value above 0 selects variant (2), otherwise (1). In general, (1)/(2) are internal variant IDs; not every early variant is a Pure/Fallen route.

Save before a schedule or major choice when exploring alternatives. Flowchart replay restores a recorded state; it is not a fresh route with freely chosen starting scores.

5. Chapters 14–17: prepare for the final choice

  1. After the last rest, the sequence is Chapter 14 → Chapter 15 → Chapter 16 → Chapter 17. Seoyoon route value above 0 selects EP_14(2); Forte route value above 0 selects EP_15(2). Otherwise each uses variant (1).

  2. Recheck your target’s affection, the ten-point lead and the route-value threshold. Later story instructions can change values, so a score noted several chapters earlier is not necessarily your final score.

  3. In Chapter 17, select the character whose route conditions you meet. The final gate checks the character you actually choose; meeting the other character’s conditions does not rescue this choice.

  4. If neither of the selected character’s ending conditions is met, the final bad-ending branch is used. Return to an earlier save that still lets you change the needed scores.

6. After the first ending: collect in groups

  1. Record the ending you finished, then use a suitable earlier save or start a new run for another route. Keep a separate save set for each target character and route.

  2. For the paired-chapter achievement, clear both (1) and (2) of one matching chapter. The check requires one pair, not every chapter pair. Chapter 3 is one candidate, with its affection gate at the end of Chapter 2.

  3. Track the four bad-ending records separately: Chapter 1, Chapter 3, the mid-story bad ending and the final bad ending. The final bad ending alone does not complete the set.

  4. The high-affection achievement is checked inside a Pure ending: Seoyoon at least 165, or Forte at least 135. These targets are higher than simply entering a Pure ending.

  5. Leave full flowchart completion for your cleanup pass: it requires all 205 non-blank nodes. FlowChartNode does not record new global visits in replay mode, so do not rely only on replay to fill the record.

7. Common roadblocks

Why did enough affection still give a bad ending?

Also check the ten-point lead, the route-value threshold and your final character selection. All conditions for that character must hold together.

Why did Chapter 7, 9 or 12 change version?

Their schedule branches check whether Seoyoon route value is above 0. Compare an earlier save before the value changed. This is separate from the final threshold of 30.

Should I always finish all five schedules in round three?

No. After two you can end the round. Continue for the episodes you want, while considering their effects on your route; there is no verified universal five-schedule route here.

Can I follow an exact list of dialogue answers?

Not from this guide yet. The verified 51 choice groups need their localized text and downstream effects matched before a guaranteed step-by-step answer list can be claimed. Immediate option gains alone are insufficient.
