Getting started

Begin with the camp storage box and letter. Follow the route to the old farm, repair its door and find the camera. Set up a campfire and sleeping bag before moving through cooking, tools and workstations. Use the quest checklist to keep track of the next task.

Sleeping Bag

Sleeping Bag

Sleeping restores energy and saves your progress. Set up a sleeping bag early, then sleep before ending a session.

log

log

Collect LOGS: equip your axe and chop a dead tree.

Chicken

Chicken

Photograph it, offer Chicken Cups, then pet it. Corn seeds are for planting.

Corn or seeds keep settled chickens fed and help them produce eggs.

After petting the fed chicken, lead it slowly toward the coop. Moving too far away breaks the follow. Return and pet it again to resume.

Trust:

Trust:

Crouch, move slowly and give it space.

Favorite food builds trust fastest.

The camera reveals better moments as trust grows.

Pack for the return journey

Check food, water, energy and temperature before setting out. Refill your canteen at the river. Severe hunger slows walking, while dehydration slows stamina recovery. Eat and drink before a long gathering trip; return to the campfire when cold.

Plant, water, then harvest

Prepare a growing bed and use seeds to plant crops. Equip the watering can when the plant asks for water. Check its status before watering again: an already-watered plant does not need another pass. Keep some of your harvest for cooking and animal care.

Keep the kitchen running

Check the recipe’s required station, utensils and ingredients before gathering supplies. Add fuel to the cooking fire; cooking pauses when the fire goes out. Collect finished food to free the output slots before adding more dishes. Prepared meals offer stronger restorative effects than raw ingredients.

Learn plans before stockpiling

Read and learn blueprints from your inventory to unlock recipes or building sets. Check the crafting menu’s owned/required material counts; red entries mean supplies are missing. Pin the next useful recipe and gather for that project before taking on a larger build.
