1. Finish finds before opening more holes
Use early clicks to reveal a few separated areas, then clear every cell of a discovered artifact before the dig timer expires. Once nearby-artifact indicators are unlocked, follow them instead of continuing to sample blindly. A partly exposed large find is not yet a collected item.
2. Keep new exhibits; use duplicates to grow
Bring new artifacts into the museum and keep space for them. Duplicate finds contribute to artifact levels and research progression; selling everything immediately slows that loop. Start selling for cash when the item has reached its current level cap. Revisit low-cost sites after unlocking a higher cap.
3. Fix the actual bottleneck
If you keep timing out with finds exposed, invest in dig power, speed or duration before adding more artifacts per site. If you finish everything with time left, more artifacts become more useful. Add display space when a full museum prevents new exhibits from earning; do not assume every room has the same capacity.
4. Complete the first set
After unlocking tablet discovery, revisit Dogopolis, Dunes and Plains for the three Cuneiform Tablet pieces. Assemble the set to earn an endowment, then compare the endowment-gated research options. Research, endowments and completed sets survive the major contracts, making them valuable early goals.
