Exact face distribution

Select a v5.1.1 face preset or enter custom comma-separated faces. The tool calculates the one-die average and the exact probability that the sum of identical dice reaches your target.

Scope: raw face math only. Boost, properties, rerolls, relics, board slots and other combat modifiers are not applied.

What probability is being calculated?

For multiple dice, each die uses the same face list and every face is equally likely. The tool enumerates the exact sum distribution by convolution, then adds the probabilities of all sums at or above the target. A face list of 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 12 therefore has an average of 2, but only a 1-in-6 chance to roll 12 on one die.
