DRAPLINE Beginner Guide: Plan Your Build
Plan a DRAPLINE build using skill families, cooldowns, artifacts and personality items. Read concrete comparisons and versioned evidence limits.

Pick the combat problem first, compare the skills you actually have, then choose supporting artifacts and items. The examples below are recommendations derived from game text—not a tested fastest-clear route.
1. Compare targets before comparing damage labels
Uppercut is a Horn physical attack with medium damage to one target and a displayed two-turn cooldown. Fireball is a Roar magical attack with the same target count and displayed cooldown. Those matching labels do not imply matching final damage: the attack type and your current combat state still matter.
Bash deals small physical damage to all targets; Tornado deals small magical damage to all targets. Both display a two-turn cooldown. Treat these as area-coverage alternatives, not automatically stronger replacements for single-target skills.
2. Read the upgrade itself
Uppercut+ changes the damage label from medium to medium+ while retaining a displayed two-turn cooldown. Do not assign a universal percentage improvement to a plus sign. Filter the skill list by family, then search the same name to compare both versions.
A passive has no active cooldown to compare. A dash in an active skill’s description is also different from a missing value; this site preserves the game text instead of converting either to an invented number.
3. Match an artifact to a mechanic you already use
Magic Wand lists Magical Power +15%; Karate Book lists Critical Hit Rate +10%. These are different modifiers, not interchangeable damage multipliers. Dragon Incense adds BP per turn, while Dragon's Necklace raises the BP maximum. One supports generation; the other supports capacity.
Assault Lance gives the first attack skill used in battle +100% power, with a first-hit-only restriction for multi-hit skills. Read restrictions as carefully as the headline bonus. Configured prices in the artifact list are reference values, not a simulation of live shop offers or discounts.
4. Separate bag items, combat items and ingredients
Meat on the Bone shifts personality towards WILD; Health Supplement shifts it towards RULE. Their stronger counterparts use “greatly shift” in the game text. The descriptions do not specify a numeric shift or guarantee an ending.
Dragon Milk describes a 25% HP heal in battle, whereas Large Beehive restores 20 Stamina from the bag. Both look like food, but solve different problems. The item catalog identifies use context; it does not cover the full feeding ingredient system.
5. Keep unknowns out of your plan
The Shield amount for Harden depends on VIT, and the description contains a runtime substitution. Searchable text retains the relationship, but a fixed amount would be misleading without your character state. The same limitation applies to variable healing and damage values.
Gallery presence confirms a described entry, not its unlock route, drop chance or availability in your run. There is no live-save import, damage simulator or automated ending predictor here. Check the in-game description if your version differs.
Sources, version & limits
Names, effect text, enemy parameters, gallery families and configured prices come from the supplied folder labelled DRAPLINE v1.0.1. That label is not independent proof of the installed build version. English, Japanese and Simplified Chinese names are matched within the same snapshot. Game formatting is removed and unresolved substitutions are shown as [runtime value].
Evidence: file-verified descriptions, configuration, active difficulty and cooldown plugin behavior; no game execution or playtesting. Setup stats and cooldown timing do not include later event, state, artifact or passive changes. Unlock routes, live availability, final shop prices, damage results and ending conditions are not verified.
