A reliable first objective

Treat rebuilding as one connected problem: restore storage and food, leave short worker routes, then add weapons and protected access before the next raid. This order combines the demo mission objectives with the economy-first structure used in Firefly’s own castle-building guidance.

  1. Place Stockpile near the first production area, then secure Wood Camp and a short route to trees. Keep some wood for the next essential building instead of spending it all on walls.

  2. Start with Apple Farm or Turnip Farm and Granary. Expand housing only when food and jobs can support the arrivals. A milk surplus is not edible cheese: add Cheese Workshop after Dairy Farm.

  3. For bread, finish the whole chain: Wheat Farm, Mill, then Bakery. Check the stock of wheat and flour before adding another bakery. Shorten repeated trips to the stockpile; a scenic but isolated workshop can become a bottleneck.

  4. Keep popularity positive and adjust taxes gradually. Extra rations, ale and religion consume supplies, so watch the food trend before financing troops with higher taxes. Add Well and keep a route open for workers.

  5. Start weapon production before a raid arrives. Prepare Fletcher's Workshop, storage and recruitment, then inspect gaps and access to the wall. In the rebuilding mission, watch the southern approach and protect the lord. Expand storage only when it is actually filling.

The opening follows the return to a ruined settlement after an enemy raid. Rebuilding is also a defense problem: restore food and workers while preparing for another attack. The mission objectives below set the scope of this guide; they do not reveal the unreleased campaign ending.
