A Sister’s Journey

Energy before expensive attacks

Use the Blaster when energy is tight. Feedback Barrage refunds 4% per successive hit on one target, up to 20%. Particle Recycling makes the rifle’s average cost 10% lower, but individual shots remain random. Choose the upgrade for the gun you can land consistently.

Sustained fire and room clearing

Wind It Up needs uninterrupted firing: damage and firing speed each rise 2.5% per second, up to 10%. At full stacks their ideal combined throughput multiplier is 1.21 before energy limits or misses. Exploding Needles ends further ricochets, so switch it off when wall-bounce coverage matters more than an explosion.

Exploration pays for combat

Tech Crystals add traversal uses as well as weapon progression. Check the weapon guide when blocked by obsidian, magma rocks, generators or arcane hooks. Resetting a gun’s upgrades refunds Components while preserving its Tech Level, making a focused rebuild useful before a difficult encounter.

Boss preparation

Against Mykorake, clear the small slimes while watching the large creature. Against Dominator, learn its repeated movement and wait for openings. Do not build a boss strategy around Cold Energy or Burning Heat: their descriptions restrict the slow and execution effects to non-boss enemies.

Activate the Talisman correctly

Match a Star Orb to a socket of its color. An orb can fit but remain inactive, and a Greater Star Orb can suppress nearby orbs. The Beastbinder’s extra 8% critical chance requires a completed Bestiary entry; at 1.5× critical damage it adds an ideal 4% average damage only when those conditions apply.

The ten bestiary encounters use conditional attack selection, not one fixed timeline. Movement, landings and animation events can hold or reset a counter. Values below are AI-update counts or explicitly named counter values, not seconds or guaranteed damage frames. The listed checkpoints are verified; a complete second-by-second trace of every attack is not yet established.
