The Mailroom · Potion calculator & ingredients
Turn the percentages on your current order into ingredient volumes. Look up grinding yields, mix a bottle and check its destination before sending it.
Read both sides of the recipe card
The front gives the minimum volume and ingredient percentages; the address on the back determines the delivery floor. Orders vary: follow your own card. Liquid orders use one or two ingredients and request 150–450 mL. The delivered bottle must contain exactly the requested ingredient types, enough liquid and proportions within 5 percentage points of each requested percentage.
Mixture plan
Choose the values printed on your order. The second percentage is 100 minus the first. This plans an exact mixture; check the bottle and destination in the game before delivery.
From ingredients to a finished bottle
Take ingredients from the labelled jars at the back of the sorting table. Drop an ingredient into the mortar and hold Grind. The mortar holds 500 mL; a full bowl stops accepting more liquid. Pick it up and pour into an empty bottle. Inspect the bottle's mixture before putting it in a canister. Use separate clean containers for different orders: adding a third ingredient cannot be fixed just by topping up the correct two.

Use yields to plan your stock
The table gives the liquid available when one whole ingredient is completely ground and there is enough free capacity. Partial grinding, a full mortar and pouring losses change how much reaches your bottle. For 300 mL at 25%/75%, plan 75 mL of the first ingredient and 225 mL of the second. A 100% order needs only that ingredient.
| Ingredient | Full grinding yield (mL) |
|---|---|
| Fish | 250 |
| Mandrake | 200 |
| Nightshade | 150 |
| Mushroom | 150 |
| Snail shell | 250 |
| Frog legs | 150 |
| Frog eyes | 100 |
| Frog meat | 250 |
| Blood | 250 |
Renewable ingredients
From Day 2, use the five labelled specimen jars along the back edge of the sorting table for fish, mandrake, nightshade, mushroom and snail shell. Hold Take until an ingredient is in your hand. Harvest mushroom or blood-fungus clusters for one piece by hand or two with the knife; a harvested cluster regrows in 180 seconds. Frog dissection produces two legs, two arms, two eyes and two meat pieces; arms grind into the frog-legs ingredient.
Meet the meat order exactly
Use the knife on a piece weighing at least 2 lb to cut it into two equal halves. Continue cutting suitable halves to make smaller portions. Weigh them, then put multiple pieces in one canister until their combined weight matches the card. An 8 lb piece becomes 4 + 4, then 2 + 2, then 1 + 1. For a 5 lb order, send 4 + 1 lb to the address on that card. Burn unused meat after completing the orders.
