Runes change the block card

Search 24 enabled rune configurations to see what they add to a block card or its tiles. Runes and relics serve different purposes: use this page for block effects and the relic catalog for run-wide item effects.

The official overview explains that runes can enhance towers, give blocks special properties or change their size. The exact effect text below comes from this Windows snapshot.

Plan the tower footprint first

Before spending a block with a useful rune, check the tower's required shape in the tower catalog. A good effect still needs a usable placement.

Read where the effect applies

Royal Rune specifies starting-hand behavior. Flame Rune specifies a fire boost tile. These solve different problems, so compare the described target rather than treating every rune as a direct damage increase.

What about stacking and combined runes?

This extraction verifies individual display effects. It does not establish stacking order, interactions between overlapping boosts or an optimal block combination.
