Haste accelerates your own card engine, while Slow and Freeze interfere with enemy timing. Modules can stack, but their values and balance change between demo patches, so interaction answers must be tied to the current version instead of copied from older discussions.

Haste

The official description identifies speed as a way to achieve faster printing. Community feedback shows that Haste can become self-sustaining in some demo builds, but this is a balance observation rather than a guaranteed formula. Check the current tooltip and combat timing before planning around permanent uptime.

Slow and Freeze

Slow and Freeze are both temporal control tools aimed at enemy actions. Demo feedback and patch notes show that their strength has been adjusted repeatedly. Freeze was considered dominant in earlier testing, while later updates reduced several temporal values and added plans for enemies that counter time-control builds.

Do Hourglass modules stack?

Yes, the developer confirmed in a Steam discussion that multiple Hourglass modules stack. However, a later demo patch changed the Slow value on Hourglass, so the old numerical example is not a safe current value. The stable answer is that stacking works; the amount must be checked in the active build.

Consume and deck thinning

Consume removes a card from later cycles after it is used. Community testers noted that this can be beneficial because later shuffles contain a more concentrated set of strong cards. Whether a Consume card improves a deck still depends on its immediate effect and on how quickly the fight reaches another cycle.

How IndieTome verifies an interaction

Record the client version, character, difficulty, card text, module text and combat-log result. Repeat the interaction without the module as a control. Only then should a numerical claim be added to a guide or database; older forum numbers remain historical evidence, not current truth.
