Chained Beasts

Weapons are jobs, not permanent classes

  1. Spears reward spacing and give you a useful throw, but a long wind-up is dangerous when surrounded. Retrieve the weapon only after creating a lane.

  2. One-handed weapons preserve access to a shield. Use short attacks when enemies are close, then replace a damaged shield instead of trusting one more block.

  3. Bows solve distant threats but ammunition and durability make them temporary control tools. Know where the next weapon lies before firing the last shot.

  4. Flails cover space but need room and careful aim. Their wide path is especially risky beside allies, pillars and explosive objects.

  5. Two-handed weapons trade safety for reach and impact. Do not press the shield plan by habit; finish the committed swing only when the target cannot flank or interrupt you.

  6. Urns, chairs, fire, snakes, spikes, explosives and mounted weapons can be stronger than a basic attack. Pull enemies into the hazard, keep allies outside it and use the chain to trip pursuers crossing the route.
