Geoffroy Monde / Surefire.Games · Official game analysis

This guide reorganizes the game's dialogue into chapter summaries and practical evidence pointers. It does not reproduce the full script. A question may have an alternate wording or a different topic, so use the clue relationships rather than memorizing a fixed sequence of option numbers.

The chapter order below follows the mission labels shown by the game. An outcome described as a failure is a failed impersonation branch, not necessarily a separate canonical ending. Exact credibility thresholds are not claimed here.

What happens

Alan Cotton hires Legion to impersonate his friend Patrick as a training exercise. The apparent simplicity is misleading: copying the face is only the first test. Cotton's conversation also checks whether you know Patrick's holidays, age, birthday celebration and eating habits.

The conversation rewards staying inside the assumed identity. Insisting that you are Legion does not establish Patrick's credibility merely because Cotton arranged the lesson.

What to check before answering

  • Read the back of the beach photograph for the holiday destination.
  • Compare the date on the birthday drawing with the upcoming birthday instead of repeating the old age.
  • Use the costume in the drawing for the party theme, and the shopping list for dietary habits.

How the scene resolves

A convincing performance leads into an evening of reminiscing. A poor performance sends you back toward practice, with options to retry or move on. The tutorial's friendship premise gains a different meaning in the final chapter.

What happens

MI6 wants Legion to approach Lydia Wu by taking the identity of arms dealer Claude Roy. Roy has been injured and detained after a warehouse explosion, leaving an opening for the impersonation. Wu expects someone with a long personal and professional history with her.

The real Roy then arrives, injured and bandaged, and accuses Legion of being the impostor. The scene turns into a contest of shared memories: appearance alone can no longer settle the question.

What to check before answering

  • Cross-check Roy's identity sketch, the clinic record and the newspaper's cultural listings to establish his cover life.
  • Keep the last meeting separate from the first meeting: the location, outfit and date are different questions.
  • Use the amusement-park email and surveillance photographs for the earlier relationship, then examine Wu's accessories for her musical interests.

How the scene resolves

If Wu accepts Legion as Roy, she has the real Roy removed and returns to the transaction, creating the mission's final opportunity. If she sides with the real Roy or rejects the disguise earlier, the impersonation fails. The irony is that a convincing reconstruction can displace the actual person.

What happens

The N.Y.P.D. sends Legion after mafia boss Andrea Torrelino. His trusted lieutenant Mickey Lucci has recently died, but Torrelino does not know. Legion must get through the restaurant entrance and sustain Lucci's identity during a familiar conversation.

The mission changes direction when Domizia's ghost stops time. She recognizes that Legion is not Mickey and explains that Mickey's crimes have prevented their reunion after death. She chooses to help Legion bring down the man who exploited him.

What to check before answering

  • Use the OceanWorld postcard and surveillance material for the recent trip, then the family letters for Lucci's home and relatives.
  • Read the childhood sweetheart's letter and the obituary on the reverse of the film interview together.
  • After the apparition, reassess the flower, color, fruit and vegetable questions using the new information rather than repeating an earlier guess.

How the scene resolves

Torrelino eventually turns away to prepare a drink, giving Legion the opening to finish the assignment. Domizia later explains that helping with the killing cost her place in heaven but allows her to join Mickey. The scene resolves as a tragic choice about reunion, not simply a successful contract.

What happens

Ralf Sullivan cannot leave his shift at Jujuk Park, even for his own wedding. Legion takes his place at the altar opposite Helga. The test is built around the couple's shared history and their enthusiasm for the Jujuk universe.

Alex interrupts the ceremony in costume and claims that he should have been chosen instead. The interruption tests whether Legion understands the people behind the photographs, not just the fictional mascot names.

What to check before answering

  • Combine the classified advertisements, tattoo photograph, comic and chocolate wrapper to distinguish real people, fictional couples and recurring accessories.
  • Inspect both sides of the restaurant receipt for the couple's first meeting and shared preferences.
  • Use the birthday and colleague photographs to identify the intruder, then compare his advertisement with Helga's to understand their incompatibility.

How the scene resolves

Helga rejects Alex's possessive claim and chooses Ralf for herself; the ceremony can continue. If the disguise or answers fail badly, she identifies a stranger or abandons the wedding. Her decision matters: the scene does not end because the two men settle ownership of her.

5. Neptune’s Guest — open spoilers

What happens

The D.E.S. asks Legion to replace the captured Neptunian leader Vulneek and stop an attack at Mount Rushmore. Because Neptunians are gaseous beings, Legion copies Vulneek's human cover rather than his alien body. Keeping that disguise and continuing to speak human both require believable explanations.

A forest ranger interrupts the operation. The conversation can become a reflection on his estrangement from his daughter, whose interest in extraterrestrial life intensified after her mother's death. That exchange is a diversion within the mission, not a separate epilogue.

What to check before answering

  • Connect the medical examination, interview and magazine cartoon for physiology, habits and the recognition signal.
  • Interpret the monument postcard alongside the translation note; the aliens' reading conventions affect the questions.
  • Check the mission date against the astronomy material. For the final exchange, remember the speech defect and distinctions between alien species.

How the scene resolves

After the ranger leaves, the group entrusts Legion with the detonator while carrying the charges toward the monument. This supplies the opportunity to stop them. Earlier failures can expose Legion to the group or cause the ranger to summon help; those are failed routes rather than alternative successful objectives.

6. Legion: Origins — open spoilers

What happens

A reconstructed message draws Legion to a remote meeting with the man known as Alan Cotton. He reveals that the actor identity was manufactured and that he is another manipulated shapeshifter. Patrick, the supposed friend from the tutorial, was his original identity, which he had mentally separated from his life as Cotton.

Seeing Legion as Patrick triggered his recovery of those memories. He now offers Legion evidence of a forgotten family and original appearance. The final infiltration therefore reverses the premise: Legion must prove his own identity at the door of his home.

What to check before answering

  • Revisit earlier documents as clues to Legion's life: the film page, photographs, postcards and advertisements have a second purpose.
  • Separate the family's names and size from personal facts such as origin, blood type, hobbies and preferences.
  • Use the poem and the hand used for notes when checking the tattoo. Do not assume every remembered detail belongs to one of Legion's previous disguises.

How the scene resolves

When the person at the door accepts the face and answers, Legion is invited inside. If the impersonation is rejected, the household follows the security procedure Legion had previously established against impostors. The dialogue supports these success and failure outcomes, but does not establish what happens to every character afterward.

Ending interpretation · reveal the final connection

The tutorial and the finale mirror each other. At first, Legion constructs somebody else's forgotten self; at the end, he uses the same investigative method to reclaim his own. The character who once assessed him becomes the person who offers a way out.

The dialogue explicitly presents the actor identity as a fabrication and Patrick as the earlier self. Reading the final homecoming as a recovery of personhood is an interpretation of that connection, not an extra scene. The text does not justify inventing a post-credits life or treating every failed attempt as a separate ending.
