Probably Stolen Profit & Rent Calculator
Calculate unit margin, batch profit, return on cost and the sales needed to cover rent using prices you see in Probably Stolen.

This worksheet uses ordinary arithmetic: margin equals sale price minus buy price. It does not assume hidden demand, fees or package-specific pricing rules.
How the calculator works
- Unit margin: sale price − buy price.
- Batch profit: unit margin × quantity.
- Return on cost: batch profit ÷ batch cost.
- Units to cover rent: rent ÷ positive unit margin, rounded up.
Enter the values displayed in your run. A zero or negative margin cannot cover rent by selling more of the same item. The result also excludes time, customer demand, power, inspection risk and any other costs you did not enter.
